Inspired by the Pacific Northwest and some of the beautiful wildflower meadows around Mount Rainier in the early summer

I have found so much joy in blind contour drawing and adding paint to the drawings

The original painting was part of the Sea Creatures for Boden collection I painted for my sweet nephew

These have also been hand painted with gold watercolor on the fireflies to better match the original painting and catch the light in a fun way

The original painting was inspired by the Skykomish Valley and the mountains of the North Cascades
