Make sure you are flipping the one your cutting into to help reduce the wave that will happen with excessive cutting. Keeping one plate new at all times helps the die not need to flex to two plates and only one. I find you typically get a better cut using this trick! Plate dies and

I also found on one of my machines if I ran it through and then removed the outer layered and just kept the inner piece or vis versa I got a deeper cut without even shimming

When stamping layered stamps you use the darkest (fullest detail stamp) to the lightest (least detail)

Believe it or not most cutting machines say to cut with the die facing up

Now you can drop stitch marks on your paper without cutting anything out
